FDA Prior Notice
All exporters of food and dietary supplement products to the United States are required to provide the FDA with prior notification of arriving shipments. This advance notice allows the FDA to more effectively protect the U.S. food supply against terrorist acts and other public health emergencies.
Prior Notice
The amount of prior notice depends on the method of shipment (express carrier, air, sea, land, rail, mail or baggage), so it is important to file within the allotted time frame. Any shipment arriving in a U.S. port without a Prior Notice will be refused admission.
US Imports' specialists can assist in drafting and filing Prior Notices to comply with FDA regulations.

US Imports offers discount pricing for multiple prior notices and tiered pricing for larger volumes. For information on these offers, please send us an email at [email protected].
