Companies that export food products, dietary supplements, and other FDA-regulated products from the U.S. are not required to obtain a certificate from the FDA to legally export these products. However, many foreign destinations and customers will request that a “certificate” be supplied with every product shipment. To help companies meet these requests, the FDA will issue certain export certificates upon application.
The FDA will issue one of three types of certificates, depending on the type of product being exported and the company’s need. U.S. Imports can help your company identify and apply for the appropriate export certificate.
